We have listed several additional resources that provide additional information and answer the most frequently asked questions about our program.

Question: On average, how many hours a week will I need to devote to coursework?

Answer: The amount of time will tend to vary depending on your prior experience and knowledge, but in general students can expect to spend approximately 21 hours a week on coursework.



Question: Can I transfer into a GMC Master’s Program from another graduate program?
Answer: Yes, GMC accepts transfer credits from other graduate programs. Our registrar will review your course transcript to determine the number of credits that can be transferred.



Question: Are the Green Mountain College Master’s programs accredited?
Answer: Yes, we are fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).



Question: Can I speak with program faculty?

Question: Can I take a leave of absence from the program if needed?

Answer: We understand that there are events that may result in a student’s need to take a leave of absence. We work with our students to help them plan a leave of absence as well as plan the best course rotation when they are ready to take courses again.
